We are a family owned and operated tourist fishing lodge located in Perrault Falls in Northwest Ontario. We host a minimum of 5-15 guests to a maximum of 50-60 guests per week from all over the world. www.manotak.com Manotak Lodge has the following full time position of Lodge Cook available for our 2018 summer season. *Be independent, yet work well in a team
*Be enthusiastic and like to meet and serve a variety clientele
*Be energetic and capable of working long hours and multiple days in succession
*Have strong work ethic and the willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump in and help
*Enjoy the challenges of living and working in a semi-remote lodge environment
*Be able to meet the physical demands of the job and lift 50 lbs.
*Have Canadian Citizenship or a valid Canadian work visa
*Previous service/hospitality and previous experience in a remote lodge setting is an asset

Specific Duties Include:
* Guest sack lunch and shore kit organizing and packing
* Breakfast preparation and execution (one day/week)
* Preparation of staff lunch
* Preparation of dinner consisting of bread, soups, main entre’, and dessert
* Assist with salad bar and breakfast bar preparation and assembly
* Interacting with our guests and ensuring they are treated in a helpful and courteous manner
* Wash, dry and put away dishes and mop floor
* Organize and maintain tidiness and sanitary condition of food preparation and storage and dish areas
* Responsible for maintaining proper inventory and assisting with weekly food/supply ordering
* Clean main lodge area every Saturday
* Follow all health and safety guidelines
* Other duties as assigned.
* Schedule is 6 days on/1 day off
Experience Required:
Kitchen experience preferred. Previous experience in a remote lodge setting is an asset.
Wage: Based on experience. Gratuities. Room & board provided.
